GABBA is the invention of Stig Honda, the eccentric Japanese science teacher at the Osaka Rock and Roll High School, who had a mission to find the formula for creating the greatest pop band in the universe. Inspired by the raw energy of New York punk music (Ramones) and the pretty melodies and harmonies of Scandinavian pop (Abba), GABBA specialise in pure pop. See also the Gabba Website.
